Get the bike parks but admire anyone brave enough to leave a bike there all day. Wonder why don't any Auckland buses have bike racks, especially over the bridge?
AT has in the past cited safety concerns as the main reason why bike racks haven’t been put on buses. I think they’re be great for Auckland, to enable more multimodal trips, especially in bus-centric areas like the North Shore, I enjoyed having the option to take my bike with me on the bus when in lived in Chch.
This is a lovely write up of the service improvements. Great work Shaun!
Great write up Shaun, clear and succinct. Well done!
Turns out if you give public transport the TLC it deserves, people will actually use it.
Thanks for the ride, Mate. Looking forward to further improvements.

Last I heard, AT is reviewing their ban on bikes on buses.

Where can I find more information on the improvements coming next, in particular the 15? I imagine a bit of overlap with the 145 which I use a bit.
